We got our first grant reply today...
They said that they are not telling us no but we need to re-apply when we get closer to travel.
We are happy with this answer. Having some of the travel paid for may be exactly what we need. Although this does not mean that we will get a grant, they could have told us no now but chose not to!
In the meantime, we still have a few grant applications out there and are waiting on resposes so keep us in your prayers!
