Update and Easter Pics!

I have changed the title of my blog!   I did not feel that Malachi's Message really fit now that we are adopting more than  one and have no idea if we are getting boys or girls.  I am starting to love this whole blogging thing!  I love finding others adoption blogs that I can follow...they remind me that there is a whole group of men and women going through what we are going through.  We can share in this adventure together.

As I read more blogs, I see so many crazy long wait times!  I feel so heartbroken for these families that are having to wait years to bring there kids home.  I also feel so blessed that God led us to our adoption agency.  A Love Beyond Borders has been great so far.  We sent our contract to them yesterday and will hopefully be submitting our dossier in about a month.  The paperwork will be done, and the lack of money that we currently have will insure that it all happens in God's timing.  My amazing husband reminded me yesterday that $11,000 really is not that much money:)  Gotta love him!  We were told that the wait time went from 6-8 months to 3-6 months!  Thank you Jesus!  He has our life in his hands for sure!  I love how the fee due dates keep getting closer and closer as the adoption timeline gets shorter.  We can't wait to see God work!

I thought I would share some photos of our families Easter celebration!  As I enjoyed my family this past weekend, I could not help but long for the day when we can spend holidays with our children who are waiting for us in Ethiopia.  As we plan for a trip to Disney Land that my grandparents are taking us on in February, I think about how on average, that is around the time we will be flying to Ethiopia.  The trip to Disney Land seems so soon, although our children seem so far away..funny how that works!
Ready for good friday service!

I had to add this picture of baby Jack(our nephew)

Hunting for Eggs

Found one!

This is the only pic I took at the Pehl grandparent's Easter.  Her Mimi ended up taking so many that I did not see the point.  I will post more from this Easter on my FB in a bit.

First holidays are so much fun!  I think we enjoyed ourselves more than she did:)  We dressed her in numerous outfits, put bunny ears on her, fed her new kinds of candies, and let her play with all of her cousins.  When she got home, we could hardly keep her awake long enough to feed her.   Sweet little sleepy baby!
